DIGITAL PLATFORM SURGIR
This Bachelors Thesis achieved the best possible grade and was chosen to participate in the exhibition
of the best Thesis of the Faculty of Design of the University of Los Andes in the year 2017.
Surigir is the design of a digtal platform that aims to instruct the volunteer mentors of the School of Reinforcement of the neighborhood Fenicia so that they can teach values to children who attend the program with an efficient method. The School of Reinforcement of Fenicia is a program were students from Los Andes University in Colombia volunteer to teach values to children in the neighborhood where the educational institution is located, every afternoon after school. Using the methodology of Design Thinking and an innovation consultancy, the best ways in which students from Los Andes University learn was identified, to be able to design a digital platform that will enable them to be able to offer a better service to the children of the neighborhood. Surgir manages to create a narrower sense of community between the students of the university and the inhabitants of the neighborhood who does not have the same economic privileges or education level.

Este proyecto de grado obtuvo la mejor nota posible y fue elegido para participar en la exposición
de los mejores proyectos de grado de la Facultad de Diseño de la Universidad de Los Andes en el año 2017.
Surgir es el diseño de una plataforma digital que pretende instruir a los mentores voluntarios del Refuerzo escolar de Fenicia para que puedan enseñarle valores a los niños que asisten al programa con un método eficiente. El Refuerzo escolar de Fenicia es un programa donde estudiantes de la Universidad de Los Andes en Colombia se ofrecen voluntariamente a enseñarle valores a los niños del barrio donde se ubica la institución educativa, durante todas las tardes después del colegio. A través de la metodología del pensamiento de diseño y una consultoría de innovación se lograron identificar las mejores formas en que los estudiantes Uniandinos aprenden para poder diseñar una plataforma digital que los capacitara de forma fácil para poder ofrecer un mejor servicio a los niños del barrio. A través de lo anterior Surgir logra crear un sentido de comunidad más estrecho ente los Uniandinos y los habitantes del barrio.
